WESTBY, RYGH: "Open Range". Traditional oil painter of the contemporary Plains cowboy. He was born in Oak Park, Illinois in 1949 and has lived in Wyoming since 1977. He took some classes in art at Elgin Community College but he is largely self taught. He has been written up in "Art West" and exhibits at Carson Gallery of Western Art and the Riata Gallery.
