Crooks Ron: He was born in Glendale, California in 1925. He is a traditional oil painter of the nostalgia of the old west. After a stint in the Army, he enrolled in the School of Allied Arts in Glendale. He left school and worked in the art department of an aircraft company then spent fifteen years in advertising art. He has been written up in "Southwest Art", member of American Artists of the Rockies, and represented by many galleries.
