John Smart IV: (British 1838-1899) Known for landscapes, castles, fisherman and cattle. Auction record of 19,300 for a 19" x 29". He exhibited in 1870 at the Scottish Royal Academy in Edinburgh and in 1870 in London and Glasgow. He was a member of the Society of British Artists. He has pieces in the museums in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, and Australia.
