GOODALE, Harvey: Born in 1900 in Danvers, Mass., and studied art at the Boston Museum School and the Rhode Island School of Design. Moved to Alaska in 1943 with his wife, Ellen Henne, another well known Alaskan painter. The Goodales are known for their portraits of Alaskan Natives, bush scenes with cabins, and images of dog teams with famous mushers.
