GRAVES, Abbott Fuller: Born in Kennebunkport, Maine in 1859 and died n Weymouth, MA in 1936. Studied at MIT with Cormon, Laurens and Gervais all in Paris. Member of ANA, 1926, SC, 1909, Paris AAA, All AA, Artist Fund. Exhibited at Expo des Beaux, Paris, 1905, Medal. SC, 1933, Prize. Works in many museums. Best known for decorative work, still live, gardens, figure paintings and especially colonial doorways.
